Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 Academic Year
Dear Students, Parents, Families and Members of the Mides Elite Academy Community, it is my great pleasure to welcome everyone back as we begin the 2026–2027 academic year. I hope all students and families have enjoyed a restful summer break and are returning refreshed, prepared and ready for another successful year. Tuesday 1st September 2026 marks an exciting new beginning for our academy, with a new school day, new KS3 and KS4 timetables, revised lesson periods, updated curriculum arrangements and further improvements across academy life. I would also like to extend a very warm welcome to all new students joining Mides Elite Academy this September.
The new academic year provides every student with a fresh opportunity to set new goals, strengthen good habits and take greater responsibility for their learning. Attendance, punctuality, behaviour, respect and readiness to learn will remain central to our expectations, and I encourage all students to make the most of every lesson, enrichment opportunity and leadership experience available to them. For our Year 10 and Year 11 students, this year will be especially important as GCSE preparation, assessments, revision and consistent effort become an even greater focus.
As Principal, I am extremely excited about what lies ahead for Mides Elite Academy. Our academy continues to grow and develop, and I am confident that, with the combined effort of students, staff and families, 2026–2027 will be a year of strong progress, achievement and opportunity. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our academy, and I look forward to welcoming all students back on Tuesday 1st September 2026.
